So I finally found my drawing book that I used about 8 years ago to try and make an attempt at drawing. At the time, I had a lot of time on my hands at work because the job I was doing was almost brainless (411 operator). So I started trying to draw.

For the most part, I never did really draw. At least, I don't feel I did. I have a few original pieces, but most of what I did was to look at a picture in a magazine, and render it onto my paper. I was using a big 11x8.5 sketchbook, so most of the renderings were a enlargement. None.. and I do mean absolutely none of the renderings involved any tracing of any kind. Afterall, the point was to try to draw, not to trace/copy.

To this day I dont feel that I know how to draw, but I have always been happy about the fact that I could take an image i looked at in a magazine, and draw it onto my paper. Usually make it bigger in the process.

I will be posting my renderings a few at a time.

SUGOI! WOW! Karlonne has some amazing drawings up on his page. They look really good, and I was amazed at how well he could translate a real picture into a drawing. Made me wish that I could draw. The best ive ever been able to do is set an anime picture or manga on the desk and duplicate it (no! not tracing it). But when I try to draw a picture from my mind it just ends up goofy looking. Hrm.. if I get a scanner at some point, maybe I will put them up here. Never really thought about doing that before.

Maybe I should go take a drawing class or something.

Ok, so Ive uploaded things I have either made or been given. So now there is content on the page. I guess now if I ever get around to making anything new, I will have to show it off.
